Areas of expertise

Research:
Dr. Germain-Rutherford’s research interests include Second Language Acquisition,  second language pedagogy, language and literacy development, applied phonetics and speech technology, as well as instructional design for the integration of sound pedagogy in e-learning practices. Dr. Germain-Rutherford has also worked on several national and international research projects focusing on faculty development and multicultural dimensions in post-secondary education and online environments.
